Electronic 332Ugh I Prior Authorization keeps getting better, with the recent addition of new payers and third-party prior authorization processors, including:
- Humana
- Mayo Health Plan
- Evolent
With these new direct connections and the ongoing activation of additional health plans under pharmacy benefit managers who are already connected to Electronic Prior Authorization, more patients are now covered. This means that more medication prior authorizations can be completed and approved within the e-prescribing workflow as users receive and complete fully electronic question sets for these new plans within the EMR.
